‘Unsolvable’ mysteries created for Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3
The lead developer of Cyberpunk 2077 DLC Phantom Liberty has spoken about the game. In a recent interview, Pawel Sasko said that the studio has created scenarios where some of the puzzles will be extremely difficult to solve alone. In this context, players are expected to work together to solve the mysteries.
One of the examples Sasko gave was the “FF:06:B5” mystery in Cyberpunk 2077. Despite being a very complex puzzle, the mystery was solved thanks to sharing on platforms such as Reddit and Twitter. In this context, Sasko drew attention to the problem-solving skills of players.
CDPR asked players to work together by publishing highly complex puzzles. In this context, it aims for players to write guides and collaborate as communities. Once the mystery of the game is completely solved, players will have worked together instead of doing boring experiments.
On the other hand, Sasko didn’t go into detail about CD Projekt Red’s upcoming games, but he did share small hints about the development process. The producer talked about the remake of the first The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2, the somewhat troubled Project Sirius side project and the new Witcher series
